Congratulations!

Students of the FOM German-Sino School celebrate their graduation

They took advantage of the unique opportunity to gain international experience and enrich their academic careers: Over 300 Chinese students made their way to Germany to complete their studies at the FOM German-Sino School of Business & Technology (GSSBT). After many months of intensive learning and personal development, they have now been able to celebrate their Bachelor's degree.

Numerous graduates from Shandong, Shanxi, Shenyang and Wuhan came together in Essen to celebrate the milestone they had reached. The director and head of studies of the GSSBT, Lin Liu and Prof. Dr. Rudolf Jerrentrup, as well as FOM Rector Prof. Dr. Burghard Hermeier welcomed and honored the Bachelor graduates on the day of the farewell ceremony. The best students of the year and the most successful theses were especially honored.

Prof. Dr. Hermeier emphasized the importance of international cooperation and highlighted the benefits of the academic and cultural links between the two countries. Prof. Dr. Jerrentrup gave the graduates some valuable advice: Be open to new things, act without prejudice and make courageous use of opportunities.

For some students, however, graduation not only marks the end of one chapter, but also the beginning of a new one: 45 students from the Chinese partner universities are now embarking on a Master's degree program at the FOM German-Sino School.
