Design & Innovation Management

The Master of Arts degree program “Design & Innovation Management” enables Chinese students to develop the basic knowledge of the areas of design and economic sciences gained in their Bachelor’s degree programme and to combine creative skills with management methods.

The program combines elements of a design course of studies with business content and prepares students for work in the fields of design and creation, art and culture, marketing and PR or consulting and project management. Among other things, the study contents include innovative creativity techniques such as Design Thinking, brand & communication management or strategy & entrepreneurship. The acquired knowledge is deepened by two practice simulations.

Graduates are able to develop and design products and services in a future-oriented and solution-oriented manner as well as to steer their implementation process. Thus, they fulfil an important interface function between business, design and technology.
